This hood that was on the car has a pretend hood-scoop that is purely cosmetic. The hood also lacks the metal support structures that the period correct version has. The hood we are replacing it with has the scoop that allows air to flow to the intake area and has the metal sub-structure. The correct lower valance is shaped to allow more air flow to the lower part of the radiator.
