Restomods / Pro Touring at 3R Racing

At 3R Racing we have done many classic car restorations but we have also created a number of “Restomods” or “Pro Touring” cars as well. These are very compelling builds because you can take an original classic car and blend it with modern components to end up with a car that is much more fun and interesting to drive.

So… what exactly is a restomod or Pro Touring car?

Restomods (restoration + modern parts/technology) draw from all the advancements in automobile technology over the past 40+ years to enhance the performance, comfort and safety of the classic car. A restomod car has the timeless appearance of the original, but the outdated guts of the car have been replaced with the more modern, high-performance parts of today.  At 3R Racing we use modern performance parts that are designed to fit to the original mount points so if you wanted to return the car to the factory original configuration it won’t be a problem. Using modern parts you achieve the same great look, but your vintage car will have dramatically improved power, handling, braking, climate control and entertainment systems thus arriving at the point where overall driver/passenger comfort and thrill levels are dramatically increased. You end up with a car that you can go on long road trips or drive around hot crowded streets with a tremendously enhanced experience and you will be turning heads all the while.
